honestly when i heard about this i went wtf is wrong with games workshop and its writers. that would never happen i know the necrons hate the tyranids and i know the imperium of man sees the tyranids as extremely dangerous maybe more than chaos but still this would never happen.
I remember reading 3 points about why it was a bad fluff.
1) The Blood Angels Commander, Dante, trying to outwit a Necron Lord who can manipulate space and time and somehow coming on par. What? You're trying to best someone who can change just about any aspect of reality and somehow you're on par with that? Bit too hard of a stretch.
2) The Tyranids. The issue with that is the Tyranids hate Necron worlds and as such avoid them due to the Necrons being psychic nulls. So why are they there in the first place? Sightseeing? Wanna tour a Necron world for ***** and giggles?
3) Both generals made a mistake of staying in the fight. The Imperials should've left, not from cowardice but strategy. If you're fighting an enemy and another enemy of yours turns up and tries to start a 2-way fight. Should've left them and come back later to defeat the winner, which will undoubtedly be quite depleted after fighting. Same applies for Necrons, who are masters of retreat with their ability to phase out anytime and come back later repaired and regrouped. (which if you ask me I always wondered how the hell Dark Eldar actually captured Necron troops in Soulstorm if you play as the Necron. You can't even recover dead Necron most the time let alone living ones who'd retreat upon defeat, but hell it's just a game so I'll call it developer oversight).

Even worse. The dumbshits rehired him.
I can already tell I should prep my self for another Age of Sigmar......Age of the Emperor anyone?
Matt Ward rhymes with retard. Coincidence? I don't think so...
That moron Wardo Retardo is a disgrace to the entire G.W. and Warhammer 40k universe.
