Wow... I can see a Brass Scorpion, a Decimator, and... is that a HelBrute, on the right, second row? Khorne is pleased with your Warp-Smithing, Mr Joazz, sir!
10/10 Thanks for sharing this glorious CG wallpaper!!!
Hey, I'm not being effusive or anything; I've just been following your awesome work for quite a while, & am always inspired by it to improve my own.
Keep up the fine work, sir!
Agreed. To be candid, I truly grow tired of their woefully under-proportioned Astartes miniatures (Loyal or Chaotic).
The Centurion looks like a dwarf in power armor, too. A pity they still haven't wised up to "up-scaling" their 40k minis to be more in step with the official artwork...
Well, at least us modders/modellers are can be more adaptive in that regard.
The Primaris, and their possible future Chaos versions, are the closest we will get to "true scale" Space Marines. They are the answer to the fandom's requests for better-proportioned power armor guys on the tabletop.
But they had to be a new and separate thing for two important reasons - because overhauling the styling of the entire SM/CSM model lines at this point would be unfeasible, and because it's a chance to make some dosh.
As for other Space Marine products, GW's in-house designs tend to be rather toy-like - see the Stormtalon and the Kastelan robots for two great examples. Far as I care, they should just let the Forgeworld guys take over, because the Heresy and I.Armour series have proven that they can do grimdark war machines right.
Definitely, FW's sculptors & mechanical designers are on a league of their own, compared to the "rank-&-file" GW staff.
For one thing, their Leviathan, Achillus, Telemon dreadnoughts make the standard Castraferrum look like a bad Lego mini.
A pity their products are mostly ultra-expensive resin kits, not to mention all the legalese getting in the way of, say, including said FW units in 8th Edition Codices (I'm especially looking at the laughably thin Custodes Codex).
Ultimately, Games Workshop remains every bit as tragically bureaucratic as their fabled Officio Munitorum. Quite ironic for a small niche company...
I can feel the Blood for the Blood God...
Good job.

You're giving me too much credit, but thanks.

Damn Kharn never looked so sexy i love it
Now that's a lie, nothing beats the 90s artworks of him.
My version is missing the hairy bits on his helmet too.
If GW has even a mere ounce common sense any longer; they'd take pointers from your incredible art, if not hiring you for an art director role.
