For everyone that likes Warhammer 40k Tabletop and Dawn of War Games or anything to do with Warhammer 40K.
So now we have space Spartans. I don't know if I should be happy or sad. I think the latter. I prefer it when they're designed not around a futuristic version of a civilization's military, and more on their own original ideas.
pretty much all of Warhammer 40K is based in someway on and around something from the real world. these just show it visually a lot more than other.
also they've been around for quite sometime.
If it makes you feel better, their lore reads pretty much like a fusion between Imperial Fists, bits of Black Templars and Khârn the Betrayer and don't worship anything other than the Emperor, they don't even care about their casualties or dreadnoughts.
and there are rumours that this chapter is descended from the World Eaters geneseed being a cursed founding chapter etc2
Well, my bad then. That does make me feel abit better xD
They also have preferred enemy: Space Marines.
It's a repost. But last time, we deduced that the Minotaurs are heretics. They would have used the catch-phrase "Space Marines, tonight we dine in hell!" somewhere along the line. 'Hell' in 40k is the Warp, therefore, the Minotaurs dine in the Warp, therefore they are heretics for eating warpish food.
This is not a repost as its from the latest Imperial Armour book by Forge World which has only been out a short while.
actually it is a repost. I posted it afew weeks back.
I appologise and stand corrected.
