Often RTS developers pay lesser attention to buildings - and that's a crucial mistake, since usually no unit takes such large part of the screen as smallest buildings, no army formations cover same big chunk of the screen as the base. Very often well-made buildings blend in our memories with the game itself - hence Red Alert 2, Starcraft. So I guess you got already we take making huts for our soldiers very-very important.
We decided to bring a slight tint of national\ethnic flavor into our faction designs. Though you hardly can expect us having anything in common with Red Alert series and we promised to be as serious as hell itself, Rogue Republic's atmosphere will be a certain mix of reality with medieval heroic style and romanticism of early XX century. Rogue Republic storyline takes place in alternate history.
Currently we made a large part of Intermarum buildings, work goes on implementing the Russian base ingame.
So if you are tired of watching your favorite Bronies the 666th time and your subscription to Starcraft 2 is over now - watch us making the rest of the buildings by tracking our game or just comment these renders before it's too late :P
