Hatred is an upcoming top down shooter by Destructive Creations. The game puts you in the shoes of a nameless gunman whose only apparent goal is to kill as many people as possible in cold bitter hatred.
Ever since the first trailer was released, massive controversy has ensued. Since then, Unreal has asked for their logo to be removed from the trailer and the City of New York also asked for "NYPD" to be removed from the police cars in the game.
Hatred was put on Steam Greenlight, but quickly taken down. However, Gabe Newell, managing director of Steam has allowed for the game to get a Steam release. Hatred is one of 29 games to get the Adults Only ESRB rating.
