one of the most inovative and best jump and runs even today. epipsode: 1-7. they are not freeware but short demos exist. if youre not a cheapstake:)buy them they are 5 bucks. thank you leilei for the pics. and don't forget to never call him captain.
These games where, again, a large part of my childhood. ID sadly went on to Doom and killed off the sweet colourful characters of Commander Keen hoping that they would never need to work on this sort of game again.
