It's amazing how much indie talent there is!

You should all be proud to be indie, this is where greatness comes from.

Keep your Call of Duty, I don't want it!

Hey everyone!
I have a quick question regarding my first game I'm currently developing. It's a free "fan made" game from another game (don't want to give it away just yet ;P) but its a game with a lot of fan art and things based off of it.
If I make it fully free, and acknowledge the original makers and repeatedly say that I have nothing to do with it, am I allowed to upload it here onto IndieDB? Or would it rather count as a mod? (doesnt require the original game to run)
Thanks to you guys in advance! And I hope you will one day like what I'm in the process of making!

Even if you 'say that you have nothing to do with it' you usually need to get permission if you are using the name.
