CaptainMazerolle has been (rightfully) arguing about Canada's Navy. I went to the link he posted and sure enough Canada has a navy, while it may only be 33 ships, it's still a respectable navy.

I believe the term for this is annex. Use your imagination for what we do from there.
To all who think we should annex canada, go to ******* preschool and learn something.
Canada has been a gracious ally, if we were to so much as consider betraying them now America would pay dearly.
Alright, Canada is among the USA's greatest allies, along with the United Kingdom. When 9/11 occurred, we welcomed stranded Americans into our homes, offered them food and shelter and treated them as if they were family. We then entered the war in Afghanistan where we lost the lives of hundreds of good soldiers. Despite this many of you are far to ignorant and pompous to recognize the importance of your own allies and put us down as if we were your enemies. It's quite saddening.
And the reason Canada's fleet is 'small' is because our population is only 34.5 million people, 1/10 of the USA's population. We cannot support a massive navy unless we are in a major war (a la World war 2, in which we finished off with the world's 4th largest navy) that requires one, and since there are no foreseeable threats at the moment, it is best we use money on more important matters.
Amen to that.
Some Americans may be pompous and ignorant (they are). But understand that those of us who are not aren't ridiculing Canada or its people, we are only joking. It is a stupid joke: just that a country doesn't have a huge navy doesn't mean they can't defend itself. Obviously, if Canada couldn't take care of itself, it wouldn't still be here.
Ex. The Coast Guard forces from Rhode Island would not win, Peter Griffin would botch the command line and Canada would roll over them like a finely tuned, syrup powered steamroller.
See? You don't have to get mad. People who are ignorant and pompous won't change with a few harsh words. Unless you're prepared to go to war with them, my philosophy is: Just lick the cream off your face, pick up the pie tin and throw it back.
I vote that this is taken down. It's insulting to an entire COUNTRY and blatantly displays ignorance with a large coating of stupidity.
Well, I suppose that in Canada, less than 75% of the youth is unable to join the army...
Canada is awesome and makes a great neighbor. The fact that we share the world's largest unsecured border and have no problems with each other should prove that.
The same thing can't be said about our neighbors to the south though...
