Recently, a pending terror attack on U.S. serviceman currently stationed in Britain was "resolved" by British authorities before any harm could be done. Two men were charged.
Junead Ahmed Khan (24) and Shazib Ahmed Khan (22). Bedfordshire Police and the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorist Command Unit were involved in the arrests.
The attack on the U.S. troops itself was at America's largest airbase currently in Britain, the suspect was a delivery driver who had used his routes to "scout out" the base and it's surroundings.
"He was planning a car accident-style attack to run over a serviceman and use a knife to kill that serviceman, and to do so, certainly had in mind the wearing of a suicide vest" - Mark Dawson, prosecutor
The other suspect, had been planning on traveling travel to Syria and join ISIS. No one was harmed and now both are awaiting court dates.
