Well, they can try, Britain only needs on ship down there, HMS Dauntless (Type 45) has enough weapons to take out all of South America's Air Forces combined, so not exactly getting the islands easily.

they tried. we beat them off before the USA even admitted to themselves that ww2 was happening.

then on D-day, we landed in the CORRECT places.... and continued to sucessfully to patch over the cracks that were the US army for the rest of the war.

the old "we saved your british *****" speech just outlines the lies that kids in the USA are taught as part of their idea of "world history"

it would be a shame...if it wasnt so ridiculous

The Yanks stayed out of it until they were sure they were backing the right horse. When you put military might in relation to a countries size, Nobody comes close. History proves it. And we will never lose a war again. That is because if we were going to lose we are capable of taking anyone down with us which puts our mainland in the untouchables category. That's a sad fact of modern warfare, One we all have to live with. Things like the Falklands are more like live fire training. We can't lose but we can get hurt.
