Hello everyone, today we are pleased to announce that our latest version Twisted Insurrection 0.40 has been released and is now available for Public Download! To Install the new version, simply head over to the download section here on ModDB, download the file, extract the containing Twisted Insurrection folder anywhere on your computer and then run TI_Launcher.exe with Administrator privileges to set-up and play.

Alternatively, if you have Twisted Insurrection 0.39 installed, simply run, simply launch it and the client will prompt you about the new version being available, once it does, agree to download the file and let the client take care of everything for you, however it might be faster for you to download the full version manually depending on PPM's download speed.

awesome, im trying it out now. i have come across a bug in the new mission. a sniper when traveling through the 1st tunnel (going back towards the starting point) popped up on top of the tunnel rather than outside the other end and got stuck there. thought i should report it

Thanks for the report, we'll look into fixing that.

Yeah. And if you put an engineer in one of the buildings of the GDI base (not the CY) the vulcan turrets start to attack own units

We just uploaded a hotfix that fixes this bug along with 2 other small issues, the client will prompt you to download it (Version 0.40.01). Thanks for the report.

So I have to say, this update is fantastic. The improvements to Twisted Dawn are my favorite.

"nod thrash" is a very good track

(spoiler)
noticed that the nod train stopped and pilled on top of each other because a tank was on the track

Oh, right, obligatory grammar gestapo visit: Someone typo'd the "Caution is advised," message in the new mission.
Yes, that's the full extent of my problems with it. Except maybe the availability of repair pads but that's something else entirely, and not really the reason I still play the old C&C games.

yeah repair pads are really something we need for this mission. Im pretty sure in the alternative clean slate mission repair pads are buildable.

Anyway, I like the mission more than the first version.

Frankly, if nothing else, I'd at least like access to the Nod pad across the river, somehow.
Or another captured one, but nyeh, when I want to babysit every unit on the field, I still have Blitzkrieg and Jagged Alliance.

This was fixed last night, the automatic update is now available via the client. We've also enabled the Repair Pad to be constructed.

The globotech Armories on the mission "Shadow, Shadow" should constantly produce a few units which attack the base, like they did in beta 3.

Not much. Just 2 humvees per armory every 3 min.

Destroy the billboard where the cultists are gathered and then run - there was a similar one in the old version of the mission

Hmmm, I just can't seem to update.. running W10 and launching in admin mode. It asks me to specify a new location, then spends absolutely ages downloading the update, and then it completes. But then it asks me to download 0.40.19 and goes all the way to 100% only to tell me "Error getting update: the system cannot find the file specified. Please see the file Launcher.log for more details"

Though, that's not much help, as it just says
"12. 8. ; 13:32:34.710 An exception occured during the update. Your game version could be broken; it's recommended that you attempt updating again. Message: The system cannot find the file specified
12. 8. ; 13:32:34.711 Changing version state."

Then when I click OK it takes me back to the launcher menu. If I click update again, it tries to re-download the file again (0.40.19) with no success. If I then quit and re-run the launcher, it again asks me to choose a new location and redownloads the entire version again (which takes a very long time), and the cycle repeats.

Why Nod Mission 16 lags so seriously later in the game? I'm running Windows 8.1 64 bit on a i7-3740 computer.
