Undertone is a music and sound based team. A "guild" of musicians in the mod scene. If your mod is in need of sound engineers or composers to create full and original soundtracks for your modification, we here will supply you with dedicated team members that will help achieve your needs.
Each week Undertone members present new or improved music from their modification. Now, instead of having to go through each mods release of music, you can now recieve all of it weekly through a zip file. You can also download each track individually.
To Members: Post up a sample your are working on, or have worked on in the download section at least once a week for media release purposes and/or critism/compliments. Thanks!

The Undertone Team now has three new musical pieces in the download section, all from individual artists. These samples are from modifications they are working on.

marry X-mas to you to and every one else
I might not be online tomorrow, so Merry Christmas everyone, wish you all have a great one.
I have upload my C&C remix pack a few weeks ago, so tell me what you think of it
well, since I usually use strictly MIDI and vst's, its all pretty straight forward (if youve used anything like cakewalk, logic, etc, u should get it). A tutorial for cubase would be useful if your actually recording instruments. Other then that, its pretty much just post production which nero is on top of with his tutorial
Cubase SX 3 here, but I want to buy the 4 wich is really awesome but and not too much expensive for a steinberg product. Btw I have posted a tutorial on my profile for music production I was thinking to make also some for Cubase.
Personally, I have never made a remix of any song. I only create my own compositions. Id love to learn how to make a remix though (take a midi file or write from ear, etc). Tutorials would be pretty cool. I use Cubase 4 as my DAW
What would be great to see on here is some tutorials of the software we use. For example I have been on some Pro Tools training and may be able to pass on nuggets of wisdom.
I myself would like to learn more about Reason. What do others think?
ok I mix the songs/music and that's it, but it's not done 4 or 10 minutes, cause if I mix one I want to be satisfied with, and if I'm not satisfied with it, I delete it and start a new 1
I do the same neuro. Usually just play a little on the keyboard, find a new theme and go from there. Or Ill take some trailer and score over it, or pictures from the mod.
Depends on the work, sometime I sit down, pick my guitar and compose some phrases, then write a partiture and compose the rest of the instruments. Or sometime I've to compose with a trailer or some pictures of the game.
