Welcome to ModDB TV, a monthly video feature which brings you all of the new (and updated mods) released to play over the past month in an easy to digest video format. Sit back, grab some popcorn, and tune in to spotlight - the easiest way to find cool new mods and games to play... Watch for updates or tune in to our Youtube channel.
Also each month in the video we shall be handing out the ModDB "staff selection" award to the mod/game we find most enjoyable! To enter all you need to do is make sure you release your game or a decent update (so guys don't be skimping on the content!), and make sure it gets onto the Mod DB front page (for more info on how to make sure your news gets there click this link), its that simple!
After your mod gets the royal front page treatment I'll be downloading it and recording myself smashing it up in your prized creation, the footage will then be placed into a video at the end of the month for everybody to see! Think of it as free advertising, but you still need to put the hard work into making your mod the best it can be!

May is over its behind us now, but lets take a moment to remember the great mods that made there way into our lives. I bring to you the May edition of the Spotlight! If your not quite sure what the Spotlight is all about, then this will be a great new experience! The Spotlight will show you a short clip of last months released mods and even tell you so if you which one the Staff of ModDB enjoyed the most. So if you have missed a few releases this month we will remind you.
If you are interested in getting your mod shown on next months spotlight the requirement is simple! All you need to do is to put a little bit of time into your news post and ModDB will reward you with the extra coverage!

Like Reissuses the most... if only there would be no load bugs ( oriental map has one. on the second map if you try to load the game it gets stuck on loading :( )
Good idea with some motion pictures :) - and nice to see Mount & Blade featured, it was just some quite borring gameplay, to be honest.

I must say, the First Strike footage was rather crappy, You guys just showed shooting through a crosshair at a target you could barely see. Why didn't you guys show some death star footage?
now that is a problem i had, in relation to my location in the world. I'm an Aussie and the only server with people on also decided that my ping was not suitable and so i could only get 30 seconds of footage. A pain in the bum as it was a well presented mod. I felt the only ones i didn't have good footage of was M&B (mainly because of the overall time the game takes in order to get to the point where you can get some action related footage and my overall skill level) and First Strike (because of the aforementioned reason in regard to ping). These problems are difficult to overcome sometimes.
Well you could always ask around for help if you have crappy footage.
Viewer beware: if you end up snagging Mount&Blade you will probably find yourself $25 poorer and unable to adhere to a sleep schedule. That game is incredible.
Nice video, AoC seems to be worthy a second try.
But maybe you should post the winning video last, kinda keeps the tension up.
