Quite a while back I posted on rumors that Crytek UK was indeed developing Timesplitters 4 and that they would announce it to the world soon. Unfortunately Crytek UK denounces that with this statement (I would not take it seriously though)
"For Timesplitters 4, with ever spiralling development costs, massive teams and endless crunch we decided on a more radical development strategy.
In short, the experiment was to implement the infinite monkey theorem. With cloning being a far too expensive option, we spent all of the development budget on buying monkeys on the black market.
Those seven monkeys are now sat in a room with typewriters and lots of mirrors, and we fully expect Timesplitters 4 to be finished soon. Rumours are that they haven't written any code but just tease the press from time to time. Those damn monkeys."
anyone interested in what happened to Free Radical I recommend checking out this article apparently the death of Free Radical was not pleasant

Jesus Christ, why why why. Well too bad but we will still remember the timesplitters series.
Yes quite bad news, but on the plus side they didn't deny it ever happening
actually after looking into Crytek UK, they appear to be making Homefront 2 maybe they are waiting until the finish this to talk about developing TS4 (well I can hope so anyway)
This interview also tells that the maker from TS can't find some sponsor for it.

It is disgusting seeing a **** game like MoH (with all due respect to its old titles) getting yet another sequel while true gems get left out.
Homefront was nice, gotta say from BF3 MW3 I liked Homefront most.
Why they produced Haze is beyond me, the FPS market was and always is oversatisfied with shooters. Timesplitters would blow hard into the market, crush everything away, there is no other FPS that gives you what Timesplitters is capable of, all those military shooters feel nothing like it. All my buddies have a TS and they all call it to one of their greatest games.
Clearly only stupid people in the high ranks, so much money could be made, such a brilliant game could be played. Pffff aw well at least we get Carmaggeddon.
Interesting I hadn't seen that article thanks.
I also agree the new MoH wasn't as good as the old classics.
While Homefront was short I also agree that it beat out bf3 and mw3 so I hope that if anyone can make the sequel well these guys can
They should have just done what Oddworld Inhabitants did, stick with a low numbered team and release good games in their own time. :P
They did seem to go from one bad publisher to another though. Ubisoft and Activision? Ouch.
i think they might release it for next gen
