Tiberium Fiends
In TS we've all seen those things storming your base under the Forgotten's commands. With all the lack of ammunition to the Mutants, using Tiberium wildlife would be an excelent way to even this lack. They could also come with a Mutant soldier guiding them (just like The Forgoten mod team cleverly did) and if he dies they get kinda out of control.
In-game charachteristics: >Heal in Tiberium (Descibes itself, every Tiberium infected being can heal in Tiberium)
>Hide (Remember in TS that some of these things would come out of nothing and storm your forces? Well, that's what they did, hiding, and the Muties are using this ability pretty well)
>If the Mutant leader dies they go rogue attacking all but Mutant units (No one is there to lead them, but they're good dogs so they don't attack their former masters. Thank you The Forgotten mod :D)
Further Explanation: They are more of light armor and infantry killers than heavy armor destroyers.

Mutant Sniper Commando
For some time some Forgotten cells had a close relationship with Nod. That would cause to nothing more than the Forgotten "borrowing" some Nod tactics such as ambush. In a time of great dissarray such as TW3, ambushing would be the best way for them to thin the enemy forces. Taking the place of the Ghost Stalker in killing infantry and having a much slower rate of fire than the other factions' Commandos they don't make any other unit useless, but without sacrificing their own usefullness.
In-game charachteristics: >Heal in Tiberium (Why not, the sniper's a mutie)
>Red Tiberium Round (Nothing makes a bigger boom than this, a weapon of last resort, too OP to be true, but there's a 30% chance that the rifle explodes and the sniper goes bye bye)
Further Explanation: The Sniper can take out any kind of squad with one magazine, but when the squad's dead, they take a bit of time to reload and to catch up with other targets.

Hijacker
In TS, Nod had a unit, the Mutant Hijacker. After their Exodus, the Hijacker corps followed their brothers in the Red Zones. The Forgotten are a faction of using the others' weapons against them, and nothing cant do that job better than the Hijacker. They would capture all vehicles (even Scrin ones) but the epics.
In-game charachteristics: >Heal in Tiberium (Traditionally)
Further Explanation: They are pretty fast and have medium armor (1/2 titan railgun shot can take it down). Oh yeah, Harvester harassment would go up to a whole new level.

Mutant Helicopter
Despite having a good grasp of Tiberium infected land and using some fast 4x4 vehicles, it'd be hard for 'em to scout the harsh Tiberium Wastelands for enemy troop movements. What would be better than a cheap helicopter for that purpose? Actually being a Twinblade\Hammerhead in Mutant colors and with the abillity to shoot air (maybe)
In-game charachteristics: >Transport Infantry (Why not?)
Further Explanation: Nuff said.

I esspecialy like the mutant helicopter,

Just think of it the building is shaped like an X with one notch being the door one notch being the warfactory and the other two being helipads :D I LIKE IT

Tiberium fiend is really something i want to add in to 1.5, i get finaly good idea how they should looks like in cnc3, im not much fond of cartoony green pig actually, something more hideous is in my mind and im about to make it real :devil:

Sniper commando - consider it done, some details is to be solved, but i think tiberium rounds would fits well with ability to kill garrisoned soldiers (one by one though like snipers in generals )

Hijacker is possible unit, but if i decide to add hijacker to nod i think something different would be better

Helicopter - not likely.

i actually dont want it for nod, but for the hovel. nod's too filled with units, so u cant add anything more. its also that the mutant units are supportive role, having few units, but being too awesome to be in any faction's arsenal.

when you say that the sniper commando replaces the ghost stalker... you dont mean that right? because the ghost stalker is the second most awesome unit in all of C&C....

i think he just means that he replaces him in rank, making it like this

Sniper Comander = Major
Ghost Stalker = Master Sargent
MKI = Sargent tank driver
Pitbull = Corperal
Rocket sqaud = Private first class
Militant = squad Private

see in this layout he takes his position as the top ranking mutant :)

What I want to say is that the MUtants use the Sniper Commando when they want to kill infantry and the Ghost Stalker when they want to kill vehicles. They're still the same rank and nobody replaces the other.

Hijacker could be another replacement for fanatics (if in Nod arenal they should be stealthed or cyborgs), or in mutant side they can be a nice integration.

Mutant airforce? Not a bad idea at all. The "mutant hammerhead" sounds nice to me.

--

I agree, also they need the "deploy" ability in order to fire. now they are too fast, they can fire and run without any time delay.

The "minibomb" of the shadow team (and their explosive) is too much weak.

Mar 28 2011, 5:14am Anchor

Yet again, Nod is not a terrorist faction, so a hijacker would be nice to replace the worthless Fanatics with perhaps...

About a mutant airforce... I dont see how that fits into their style with hiding underground from the war at all.

Yeah, but Nod isn't as terrorist as they used to be. I think that the Mutants need the Hijacker more than Nod, as Nod has a vehicle production of their own, while the Forgotten rely or looted vehicles and modifications of them.

For the Mutant airforce, my thought was the same as GoldenArbiter's. They rely on a defensive strategy to survive, not throwing all their forces in battle like GDI or Scrin nor trying to infiltrate into enemy bases like Nod, but luring the enemy to them. They are also unable to match the superpowers in face-to-face combat, so they are forced to turtle :D

Forced to turtle... do you remember the battle bus/war camper in a FS mission? Maybe this crazy unit might come back...

For the airforce you may add some odd stuff like drones (something similar to the actual predator/global hawk as AT/spy unit) or something like this: Img268.imageshack.us

That reminds me of the impact drone from the Forgotten mod.
As for the helicopter, I was thinking about the Helix from Zero Hour in a supportive role with his 2-3 add on upgrade(maybe) but without the napalm bomb.

Meh the helicopter doesn't have to look exactly like the helix, its just its role and maybe abilities that are similar.

It sure as hell should not look like the Helix, the Helix is like a flying tank in armor, size and firepower. My idea is a fast moving patrol helicopter with the ability to transport infantry. It should also have weapons because if it's unarmed it's not better than the already existant transporters.

I don't think it should be an anmanned drone because the Mutants are a bit too low tech to use that.

Mutants got the tacitus for a period of time, They could have some crazy technology...

there were two entities capable of translating the tacitus. tratos, who worked for gdi and was assassinated, and cabal, who went crazy and killed everyone.

yes tratos was a mutant, but he worked for gdi the entire time after they saved him.

It was not the Forgotten the ones who actually had the Tacitus, but GDI, as Tratos was one of GDI's scientists. The only way they can be connected to the Tacitus is mentally, like the Cultists in TS, some of the mutants being able to do similar crazy stuff, but that's not considered technology, but a capability of some special mutants.

Yeah,yeah, things from past, things from the Forgotten mode.but we still must think about Mutants only as opportune power to aid you in THIS mode. But as I am saying the summary forum the Mutant Epic unit can be something to shine upon us.Mutant sqauds,looted pitbulls,Mutant commando and Mastodon(eventualy when with all glory the 1.5 will come out) to provide. In your campaign The Fight of the Forgotten there are also used old flame tanks and even Visceroids as Mutants forces.maybe we can give mutants looted something from NOD and Scrin too.And Mutants will combine both units to create something totally new.The air units can be trouble.
