Role: Boobytrapping tib fields
Weapon: Catalyst micro nuke : The node needs to be placed like a growth accellerator, on top of a tib vein/ blossom tree. after placement it will start charging itself ( deploying time) for 30 seconds. after that period it is armed, stealthed and can be activated to create a massive catalyst explosion roughly 2 times the size of the rocket, likely destroying any refinery and harvester in the area. it can be placed out of the building zone.
Cost: 1500
Energy: 5
Needed: LQ tib factory

This sounds really cool, but really OP. not much I can suggest on it either.

why it OP. if you let your enemy build this next to your base ur just blind, and past that its nothing but a troll bomb to keep enemys from expanding.

First off, the cat missile costs a lot more, and has plenty less destructive power (though is still annoying).
Second, for 1500, you have something with slightly more tactical value than a nuke at about 1/5th the cost.
Third, it's cloaked. 
Fourth, doubling something's radius increases the area covered exponentially, thus making a tiberium field wide bomb, almost making it more powerful than the nuke as well.
Fifth, I don't think it can actually be coded into the game.

yes but cat missle doesnt take 30 seconds to deploy and a nuke can be shot anywhere, cloaks can be disrupted, if you dont double area i would find it impressive that it can destroy anything but a miner, and its just re-using the catalyst effects. oh yea, you need to activate so if you are to busy defending, you just wasted 1500 money. i guess it does need some nervage to double-edge it a bit, perhaps slowing down tib growth so you cant expand either, and greatly increasing energy output so it hard to spam

How about some of this suggestion and ideas ?
1)Tiberium cloaking device. Cloak entire tiberium field and prevent enemy harvester from harvesting tiberium accept for our own harvesters.
2)Nods very own tiberium growth accellerator.
3)Something similar like the Aftershock from CNC4 but placed in the middle of the tiberium field sending a shock wave to damage the enemy or slowing down the enemy.
4)Catalyst node make the tiberium field into a crystal land mine damaging enemy units or killing theme.
5)Catalyst node shoots a beam similar to the Ravage in CNC3KW but damaging or killing Tiberium powered units or harvesters only.
