Music Thread - Tiberium Essence Fans

Hi,

I know that the original Music thread is locked, so I thought why not make a new one for new ideas about remixes and other stuff.
First of all I think that there shouldn't be original songs from the other titles, but rather remixes to give the mod a kind of unique feeling. It feels strange listening to Killing Machine while playing, because I already know it from Firestorm and connect it with Cabal.
So in conclusion I think that remixes would fit better, like Kane's Wrath did with Act on Instinct.

I'm always up for more music for TE They could be new ones that are completely original (but still pay homage to Frank Klepacki as well as the theme of TE) or more remixes/remakes of originals, all of which would be exclusive for TE. Using the Act on Instinct remake as an example, it is certainly possible to take an older and original song (that is already awesome and popular) and remix/remake it so it would be unique (but still captures the essence of the original and still sounds awesome) - I believe this would be most suitable for TE. So while I've always loved listening to the original music, I see your point and agree Warthog3, they were in Tiberian Sun and helped define that game - now it'd be great to hear more original/remake music that is exclusive and helps define TE - if it's unlikely, I'll be satisfied with what we have too

I was also just wondering if it were possible to have particular music for each faction, just like in Generals - so each faction will have its own style of music that will define who they are. For example, when playing as GDI, the songs could have a mix electronic with some rock and some orchestra - Nod could be electronic mixed with only rock and no orchestra - Scrin could be electronic mixed with... eerie, but still fun If it's possible to do for this game, it sounds like it'd be quite a bit of work to have such a variety (more help may be needed)... but it'd be so awesome and fun to dream about!

I know of one person who has helped Carnius with music and so far he has done an outstanding job - if he were still willing and still available, it would be awesome to hear more of his work in a future release of TE I hope he can, but if he is unable to due to a busy life, I'd understand. Maybe there's someone who is a fan of TE and is also close friends with Frank Klepacki?! Lol

Nice to see someone sharing my opinion As for the idea with individual music for each faction, it's a nice idea, but I think general seperated music for each faction like in Tiberian Twilight ( ) wouldn't fit the continuity of the other Tiberium Titles. What I think would be better is the idea of Tiberian Sun, but enhanced, for example you could only listen to Pharotek and Nod Crush while playing Nod. So it would be great if Tiberium Essence had something like a core soundtrack like Feelds of Green by Vlado32 but also some songs for each faction only.

That's partly the reason why I was thinking it'd be neat and fresh to have a different music playlist for each faction That, and I thought since it worked quite well in Generals, it could possibly also work for TE - to have specific styles of music that would define and set the appropriate tone for each unique faction as you play them. But this is me just dreaming of the possibility

Agreed, this is a much more reasonable goal for TE In time and gradually, I can see them adding more new/remixed music that can eventually replace the (original) TS tracks, that is, if most fans and Carnius agree to this notion. So I guess for now let's give Carnius and Vlado32 time and see what happens with the music in TE for any future release, and if Vlado32 (or anyone else as talented) is willing and has time to make any more fun music for TE, it'd be greatly appreciated by all of us

I'm a original person. but some songs just are to short. to not much remixing needed. just a bit longer versions.
