Kodiak in TE Thread - Tiberium Essence Fans

I've been thinking of the possibility of the Kodiak being brought back for GDI in TE. This idea is primarily for the nostalgia of this unit and if Carnius were interested, it would look awesome to mix the TS-style Kodiak with something new of his design, so it would resemble an updated version of the iconic Kodiak.

Just like in v1.4 TE, where Scrin had the choice between either the Conqueror or the Mothership for their epic unit (only one or the other), we can have a choice for GDI. At the Orbital Deployment Center, Carnius could give us the choice between the Mammoth MKII being dropped in by a transport, or the Kodiak coming down from the sky and made playable. However, besides being an air unit, something(s) should be unique and different about the Kodiak compared to the MKII, so it would be a worthwhile alternative epic vehicle - so depending on your fighting style, or depending on your opponent's fighting style, etc, you'd purchase either the MKII or the Kodiak. Also, if the name Kodiak should be unique to McNeil's command ship, to respect that, this battle cruiser could have another suitable name, just as long as it (most importantly) still resembles and pays homage to the original Kodiak in some way

What do you guys think? Keep in mind, any suggestions made don't have to be for the 1.52 release, but if Carnius were interested, he can make it when he chooses for any future release.

For those who were in favor of seeing the Kodiak again for TE (including myself), our wish has been granted and confirmed by Carnius! I suppose this forum can now be used to offer suggestions about the Kodiak itself, such as its abilities, upgrades, etc.
