I have been considering... Thread - Tiberium Essence Fans

I have been thinking of creating a monthly Tiberium Essence Tournement...
the only problems I see are:

having enough people play (and be able to play at once)
having some sort of a prize

I would really like the communities opinion on this...

The biggest problem is probably timezones.

I know... but they do hold tournies for other games so i thought maybe we could figure out a time frame for us all to do it in.

I am in for this idea, but it needs really good organising and 1.5 of TE.

maybe base it all on GMT as well. that way people only need to add/subtract.

Question Smallchange.. what kind of tournament rules are there gonna be?
give me some info of what you had in mind.

well... tbh i had not given that alot of consideration although I believe the basics would be:

Start with $20000
Official Maps Only (Atleast for first few tournaments)

No Hostile Combat for first 10 Minutes of game.
No Secret Alliances.
MAYBE!--- No SW's

otherwise idk though... should there be more?

How big is the tournament gonna be? 16 people 8 or 4..

About those rules, I don't think I like them. Maybe it should be classic tournament type, you know, 1v1, 10000$ and classic sikirmish at the first match for all, then use special rules which have been announced long before the match so that players adjust to them and that are going to be kept by the observers\referees of the game, but no team games or FFA games for now.
