Almost anything is fair game for The Soap Box, providing it meets Mod DB's terms of use, stays within the area of gaming (Or issues affecting gaming), and doesn't offend. We'd also advise against naming specific companies or people in your articles, just talk about the subject at hand and most people will be able to guess who or what you're talking about.
If you're discussing something to do with laws, be aware that there are different countries in this world and not all of them have the same rule book. Make sure it's clear what you're talking about if you mention specific laws or national regulations.
Try again kiddo, you've still got to follow the rules. This isn't a free for all, this is just the place to write about your opinions on matters affecting gaming. Flames, deliberate trolling and the like are liable to earn you a ban.
We're more likely to check this group for thought-provoking front-page material. Simple really.
Easy - either click here to create a new article which is ready to go, or get an old article and link it to this group. As simple as that.
We're sorry, but no images, videos or audio files have been added to this gallery.

We know you've got your opinions, and we know that like most gamers you can be vocal about what you believe. So we've gone and created a place for you to do just that.
The Soap Box is a new group designed specifically to pool together the community's opinions on everything from violence in games to intellectual property, from MMORPG obsessions to scandals in the modding world. The requirements for entry? An opinion, a good grasp of English, and an understanding of the rules. No insults, no libel, but other than that you're welcome to stand up and make your point.
The Soap Box is also the place we're likely to be looking for the best of the community's writing for front-page highlights, the pinnacle of thoughtful debate, and members sticking their heads above the parapets and letting their opinions out.
So grab your notepad, find a target, and let's have some pieces submitted to provoke discussions and debate.
Only registered members can share their thoughts. So come on! Join the Mod DB community today (totally free) and do things you never thought possible.
Hold on - So how do we submit something that we write for this?
Read the group summary - "How do I get started?"
The question now is, what should we talk about?
We do indeed need a new topic. The others, while good, seemed to have dried up.

I personally don't know. Perhaps PMing one of the group leaders to ask would get a quicker response. No everyone checks here all the time.
You find violence in a great cuantity
I don't see all the stuff that was written on violence in video games.
What I meant was that it sucks that the topic has fallen flat, and the other comments are on pages 2 and 3.
