7000 meters? The Valiance, Rising justice, and Redemption are all 23,000 meters long. And all of their size is dedicated to offense, with weapons at every square foot, even on the underbelly. If you're getting a Super Star Destroyer, why not get one with enough bulk to fit a fighter factory along with a great deal of firepower. The Arc Hammer was a factory ship, 9600 meters long, but it wouldn't stand a chance in a fight. I suggest redesigning your SSD so that it will retain a decent amount of firepower along with the factory you plan to install. Just a suggestion.
And? A fully functional shipyard will render your warship, well, un-warish >.<. Their shall be near enough no room for any weapons at all. You have to think of the shipyard itself, the materials needed to make the ships, the crew, their quaters, food suply ect. I believe that making ship fighter factories is a good idea but a ship Hammerhead factory? To costly.
