Man you guys made a lot of progress! Exciting!
Awesome. Keep it up!
Sorry, but I don't really get the idea of this. What exactly are you trying to achieve with this? For me, it just looks like you're just rebuilding the standard Morrowind.
With modern graphical bling, removing a lot of old engine resrictions, probably a ton of other stuff and.....RAGDOLLS!
and a playable combat system...? ;D
ok, thanks for the reply. I was just confused because in the clip and/or description was nothing mentioned about changes or something.
Actually I want to touch on that combat system comment myself. I would personally love if the dev team could at some point add an option for a more interesting combat system. Something like oblivion or skyrim had. Or if you are feeling really froggy you could even try to add a better version of the Mount & Blade style combat in. I know it would be a lot of work. New AI, new animations for both third and first person, and a lot of balancing. But still. If you can ever drum up the interest in doing that I'd love you all eternally!
There will be no big changes until post-1.0. The aim of the project is to first accurately recreate the game up-to 1.0 and then to start doing improvements.
There are no ragdolls.
Anyways, tracking, the graphics alone look great.
