To ComeradeStalin:

These things, like work-camps, are quite common in dictatorship, not only in Russia. And his paranoia is not capitalistic story, it's the fact mentioned many times in Berija's diary, he was ill. And last of all, stop called me stranger! My country is not big, but I would say at least Ukrainians could know where it is, since we were the part of block with quite strong industry and agriculture - and most of that was sent to SSSR as "brother's help"! Regime in our country could be just, good and fair if we had better ideals than be like SSSR - in fact we always were better in lifestandarts. If there wasn't pressure from SSSR, we could have something China has now, and that's I call quite good and working regime.

And Orwell wrote this book in 1948. It was warning signal. It describes quite well what can happen in one man's rule and that Earth is not the best place for living. Just tell me when the lower class got what they wanted, I'd really like to know!

My dear friend. I call you a stranger not because I don't know where the Chech Republic is. In fact, I know more about your country than you do. I call you a stranger because you are a sort of man "who-doesn't-know -a-****-and-behaves-as-he-understands-everything -and-dares-to-preach-others". You are not the first, you not the last.

"it's the fact mentioned many times in Berija's diary" - one more anti-stalinist burning sensation generated by bribable whorenalists? Tell me this story.

In USSR we had everything: Motherland, History, Patriotism, Pride, great past and bright future, science, best education world, the strongest industry, the mightiest army, guaranteed job, ideas of humanism and mutual aid, feeling of involvement to something Great...
While capitalism swept all this and gave me: porn, coca-cola, porn, McDonalds, porn, NET, (did I say porn already?) and maybe that's all... oh ****, I forgot about democracy! Democracy is declared in my country but 95% of the population (including me) are ungrateful stupid bitches who don't understand their happiness.

I'll postpone discussion about work-camps for better times.

That what happened in the Tiananmen square is something what USSR military had to do in 1991. Chineese government didn't crap their pants and crushed that clownery in the square. Thanks to it, now they are actually CHINA, and not a bunch of puppet pseudo-independent formations with rudimentary elements of statehood, ruled by local princelings and with oratory about democracy like most of post-soviet counntries are nowadays.

Besides, do you really think that a state can't normally exist without speculation and street hucksters? Or that a stranger from nowhere will be more effective manager than a state machine? Bureaucracy (in good sense) is much more effective than a private owner in most of spheres. That's a fact. And that't what China did - they allowed market relations in segments, where strict governmental controll is not needed.
And that has sense.

how dare you...i will speak to all of you with respect and understanding but if you condone the cold blooded murder of hundreds of innocent protesters you are no better than the vermin that ordered it

there is NO excuse for the atrocities the USSR and PRC have done throughout the years, if you see millions upon millions dead as progress you are a monster, troll this if you want but i will not stand by and let you make work camps and slaughter sound ok

democracy/republic/capitalism-collapses into anarchy or socialism as the lower classes become dissatisfied with their situation, whether it be because of actual oppression by the upper class, or the more common need to simple blame their own misfortune and often laziness on someone else

communism/socialism-impossible due to human nature, human greed and competitivness makes this option invalid as capitalism will eventually develop as the state ruled economy is unable to support itself. The state will eventually allow elements of capitalism in, as in the case of china, who had no choice after Tiananmen square but to allow capitalism in or face full scale middle class rebellion that would likely end in a revolution similar to the french revolution from 1789-1799. Or a nation could use brutal force and cruelty to suppress all capitalism as in the case of the soviet union, they paid the price of losing everything

Despotism-The most divided in success stats of all government types, if a great leader such as Caesar, Napoleon, Reagan(disputable), Elizabeth I(disputable), and others are in power it can be the most successful type of government, the down side is that these people do not live forever

Obviously there are many other types of government but they have proven to be very unseccessful

I agree. The people don't want democracy now. Even in USA they demonstrated and they were silenced with tear-gas. The liberty is not what it used to be...

Slow change, or doing nothing is not solution, sooner or later there will be something like revolution. But it doesn't have to be communist revolution and even if it was, there would be no real communism.

"People are divided into three classes:
1) Governing - they want to stay on the top of all cost
2) Upper-mid - they want to be governing
3) Lower - they want people to be free, equal and uniform, they want communism
When the situation is critical, some people from middle class will promise to lower class what they want in exchange for their support. This means revolution, governing class is killed, or jailed, middle class become governing, smarter people from lower class will form new middle class... In fact, only the lower class will never reach their goals."
George Orwell in his book 1984 (very interesting story)

except that he based the book on guess what? yep, The USSR.

Half of the Methods used by Oceania in 1984 is the same very methods used by the USSR.
