errr isnt disrespecting others and posting nasty comments part of freedom of speech and when some guy starts flaming someone, isn't it a common human reaction to start fighting back?? (in other words: I think only the one who starts should be demoted etc. etc.)

To avoid further arguments, we should demote BOTH members. Besides, this is a place to have fun, and not offend others. There are plenty of other groups on moddb that cater to offending people, but this group is not one of those.

And yes, free speech is a right. Severe abuse of that right will have consequences.

Every human has a different opinion on things, and if you can't say **** about someone or something, but only positive things, you are dissallowing them to epxress their opinion.

There are many ways to defend yourself without insulting anyone. There are many ways to make your opposition clear without having to resort to trolling or flaming. If a troll or flamer insults you, just let him make a fool of himself, his posts will get buried sooner or later.
