This is one of the failure of the soviets
they are slow to realize that tank rush is no longer effective especially with the existence of rpg, helicopters, and at planes while they are thinking to make more tanks to overwhelm the enemy the americans are thinking how to kill the tanks and then the apache is born and let's not forget every tank commander worse nightmare the A-10 even so if the soviets gets its grips with the American IF the did with weak t-55 or t-72 tanks pretty much they will get cut down pretty easily
Punctuation my friend, look it up.
Also, tank's would also be accompanied my AA vehicles, IFV's and Air support. No person with military experienced would send tanks alone in a rush, thats just retarded.
Aye, no experienced general would do that, but the Soviets had the bad habit of positioning politicians to lead their troops. Voroshilov even stepped it up a notch during the Winter War, by not only sending tanks in alone, he didn't even give them orders for what to do if they broke through(and since Soviet tanks of the era didn't have radios, this meant they just ended up milling around uselessly behind Finnish lines until they were all finally picked off).
Plus, the Russians made the same basic mistake of sending in tanks with insufficient support at Grozny in 1994.
Indeed, the Soviets would utilize the blitzkrieg doctrine, and I'm fairly sure they would cut through the NATO lines before NATO would been able to put up a counter force (because Brittish tanks was in UK, french in france, all eastern blocks vehicles and planes however would be at the front line.
Heeey Griffinz....yeeeaaaah, you're forgetting about the 5 or 6 German and American Armor Brigades in Germany, the huge Euro forces that were at all times on standby ready, aaaand the vast network of counterattack plans the U.S. and her allies had during the cold war.
baine... almost the whole RED ARMY was there! you cant compare it with few armor brigades! + US has a ocean between europe and it, Russia didn't. and don't forget eastern europe that was almost as well armed as the soviet host. it was like 5 to 10 soviet tanks against 1 Nato one.
so you were the one in WW3? oh damn i forgot, IT NEVER HAPPENED! when was the last time there was 2 STRONG i mean REALLY strong opponents on each others back on a grand scale war? oh yeah now i remember, WW2! was there tank rushes? YES!
A-10's wet dream...
yes indeed

Hey I send tanks alone in a rush unaccompanied, but only if they are mammoth or apocalypse tanks.
so you were the one in WW3? oh damn i forgot, IT NEVER HAPPENED! when was the last time there was 2 STRONG i mean REALLY strong opponents on each others back on a grand scale war? oh yeah now i remember, WW2! was there tank rushes? YES!
