the "extra" gun is actually a flamthrower, and the main gun is actually demounted, only the barrel is left.

i don't think the main gun on the real one was deactivated and they only did it in CoH for balance.
no, the pump for spraying the fuel out in high presure was housed in the turret so the main gun couldn't fit. (random discovery documentary about specialized tanks)
