RPG-29 penetrates Challenger 2's lower front armor

In August 2006 a Challenger 2, got penetrated from an RPG-29 at an ERA protected frontal part of the hull during an engagement in al-Amarah, Iraq.

Are you sure it was a Challenger 2? Because I don't believe this.

Well in all fairness, most tanks aren't really built to have heavily armoured floors aha, but then again, no tank is invincible.

i know this is late but the diagram is incorrect if anyone is still looking at this post. the RPG round hit the lower glacis which was protected by explosive reactive armor not Dorchester, so i would expect a RPG-29 to penetrate the armor. after the indecent they then replaced with dorchester so it could take more hits.
