For those who haven't noticed yet, American tanks have finally made it into War Thunder including the M2 Light, M2 Medium, M3 Lee, M4 Sherman and it's variants,M26, M46, M47,M6 Heavy,T32 Heavy, M103, M3 and M5 Stuart, M22 Locust, M24 Chaffee,the M41 Walker Bulldog, Duster, and the three AA variants of the M3 Halftrack although most of them are not available to the general public as of yet unless you buy one of two packs to get access to the CBT.

I had high hopes for War Thunder but with every update they ruin the game more and more, the devs are arrogant and dont listen to the community they also happen to be biased terribly against anything made or used by Germany while Soviet machines are given many advantages, i gave up on this game.
Oh and the game is starting to copy WOT and not to mention the grind.
I dissagree with that. It WAS horrible back in the day when 1.37 patch was release but they fixed most stuff now and they add what the community asks for (example beeing able to tow tanks.) and even made modding avialable for the community. Soviet is not op just jack of all trades they neither excell nor suck at anything thats what makes them dangerous you gotta adjust your playstyle for them and know Your plane/tank more than your enemy.
Meh trust me Soviets aren't OP I am happy if I fight Soviets in my Typhoon or 109G2 it's like a turkey shoot as for tanks well I have a limited experience at it yet when I take a T-34 for a spin I get 1 shotted yet I also 1 shot stuff, it's just using proper tactics and trying not to give your opponent the advantage.
I agree on one thing tho...the grind...is insane yup..but only for late tier 5 tanks and planes.

Your first post is pretty much spot on. Russian tanks keep getting better and the german tanks are usually over tiered. The T-34s aren't the issue, it's the IS-1s through 4s that are. Hell they gave the IS1 apcr the last patch but the tiger H1 still doesn't get it evn though it's fighting tanks it didn't actually see. Never mind the Tiger 2 H meeting T-54s and IS-4s.
What about the Panther? is it still missing its APCR shells and have a nerfed non realistic rate of fire?
The best WT patch for me was 1.35 (maybe because I only started playing when it was 1.35)
I was super-hyped for 1.45...
Then... 3 euro just to play a FREE game's faction...
Will stick with planes until I get my application accepted or tanks become free.

I'm talking about not able to acces tier 2-5 without applying/buying/completing tasks
Also some tanks also have had their coaxial or pintle/cupola mounted machine guns activated.

I like how they not only managed to make the M3 Lee a decent tank but also somehow intimidating as well. Firing the 2 cannons and 2 machine guns all at the same time turns the front of the tank into an inferno. That **** looks intense.
So congrats on Giajin for giving the Lee it's first and probably only chance to shine in all of video game history. While it wasn't really a "great" tank in RL it still wasn't as terrible as it has been portrayed in video games. I mean the British liked it well enough in North Africa at least until the better German tanks eventually started showing up.
