Sorry for not replying till now.

Blizzard already mentioned that Diablo 3 would be released before SC2s HotS. So do not expect them to release that expansion till afterwords.

They can easily change their mind but I am doubting it.

As far as what you read on the forums ijat... Unless it was said by someone that works for Blizzard.. take it with a grain of salt. ( As the saying goes anyways.. ) Even then though if its just from a forum operator ( or admin ) sometimes their information is off as well.

That is sometimes due to miss-communication from the devs/other blizzard employees with those people. Hints why most don't like to mention that sort of stuff anymore on their official forums. ( as they get chastise by both the fans and people in their workspace for it. )

Besides all of that, HotS has no current release date, only Blizzard knows when they will release it, even then they might not currently know themselves. Problems always seem to pop up when you least expect them to it seems.

Blizzard isn't making any releases this year (2011). They said that they'll probably release Diablo 3 by the end of year. Knowing Blizzard, I wouldn't expect it through.

About your post - every forum wants higher popularity, more visits, as there's a higher chance that a visitor will click on advertisements => more money.
Of course, their news makers are going to make shouting names for their news. Or write about something unexpected.

Whom do you believe to? Game developers or some forums, which have totally no idea about current status of game development? It's up to you.
