Technically it is up to Praxis as GM, but in my opinion. It should be on the condition that you cannot roleplay your Mandalorian char while your Sith char is active. In other words, you can go back to your Mando char when you are fully done with the Sith char.

(And if I were a real SOB GM I would make you wait a week to minimize possible exploitation. xD )

EDIT: Scratch that, if I were a real SOB GM I would just say no ;D

You're just saying that because you don't want to face me as a Sith xD.

I promise not to use my Mandalorian character unless absolutely needed. Like if you suddenly invade the Hegemony ;P.

And who determines what goes as "absolutely needed"?

Your suggestion is all well and fine except it also puts you in control of two separate faction. Even if it depends on the circumstances.

Your suggestion proves exactly why the condition should be in place.

If we had at least a couple more active RPers it would do wonders to even things out a bit.

I was unsure on whether or not to approve Ori's decision to make a Sith character. Hence I told him to make a post and see what everyone else would think.

Oke I guess people don't like the idea of me having an additional character so I could help out Pain.

I do understand it though. "Even with the best intentions at heart, things can become worse then before." -HH.

Sorry buddy, you're on your own.

I would have said something like... "Best intentions doesn't make for the best excuse" :P

In any case, I don't think people are unwilling Ori. They just don't want it to be exploitable.

My suggestion is not a result of me not trusting you to keep things separate, it is just a matter of RP history. It is incredibly easy to exploit having two characters, even without intent. It isn't a condition for You, but one I would put on everyone who asks for this kind of thing.

If you don't like the condition that I suggested, suggest something yourself to ease peoples mind. A guideline, a set of rules or conditions.

Edit: Also, no one is gonna be a douche bag and take out your char in a cheesy move while you are using your Sith char, even if someone tries, they need Praxis' OK on it.

The conditions are not the best, they require me to abandon the faction closest to me in order to help out another.

Regardless, I can accept if on my own condition that I can switch characters instantly (or within a span of three days at most) WITH GM approval only.

Do we all agree on this requirement?

I'm Ok with it as long as no one completely opposed to it. As long as you keep me up-to-date on things going on with your characters I see no issue with it.

Just note that you have responsibilities to keep up with both factions and your characters. You can't bail out on Pain if things don't turn out well or when it suits you, and no alliances are going to happen between major factions on my watch. Your all going to be bitter enemies till the end. xD

Description

I've been thinking of making a Sith character and companion so that I could help the Sith out a little since pretty much most Sith are either gone or really good at lurking in the shadows.

Now this requires a bit of rule breaking I guess, since I already have a character.

What happens to the Mandalorians? Nothing much. With no direct threat I can pretty much bench Ori'verda for some time and pretend he's doing the same thing I want him to do when I'm in Serbia with no internet, which is training and going on minor quests.

In short: Would you, the community, allow me to help the Sith and make an extra character and thereby break a rule? The Mandalorians and my original character would be largely unaffected.
