That is a great idea! xD.

We should definitely use this for battles.

Kinda hard to write with, though.

I have a (mediocre) tablet to draw stuff with a pen.
so you guys can just ask me if it isn't readable at all xD

but it should work with a mouse too (kinda)

First attempt. Battle of Telos. Think we should have a system in place.

I did dots for fighters/bombers, and triangles for ships (the huge triangles are flagships). Maybe a triangle=capital, circle=frigate, diamond=arty, something like that?

Any idea for corvettes/Carriers?

Not trying to make you all draw each ship, but just as a general idea for where ships are and what they are. Maybe I'm overcomplicating things? xD.

no, you're not really overcomplicating things.
you can draw one for the whole battlefield (when there are several fleets like at zonama)

and then do one in detail like yours between 2 (or something) fleets.

from left to right:

Fighter/bomber - corvette - frigate - carrier - capital - flagship/ssd - artillery - actual artillery

This sounds like a good idea. We should work out the kinks and set some ground rules before we do it so it doesn't get messed up in any way. We should also establish shapes for certain units so we all know what is what

I like it. It seems to work well enough, as long as we've got a decent system in place.

I love going back to the various groups and looking into the comments to see what it was like back in the good 'ole days. It's pretty impressive how far this RP's come from then.

I discovered a neat little site a few days ago and thought it would be perfect for use in the rp.

you can save your sketch and others can edit it by clicking your link etc.
the attacking person would sketch his position and if someone jumps in he edits the original one etc.
