Greetings Troopers!
Work continues apace on the singleplayer version of First Strike, and we are now approaching a time where we feel ready to release a closed Alpha Test Build to a limited number of people willing to test for the mod.
This is an opportunity for anyone interested in play testing the new singleplayer focused version of First Strike. Before releasing to the public, we want to do some stability testing and get feedback on the new kit loadouts. If you're willing to put in some serious time to battle First Strike bots, then please PM Dnamro to make a request for access to the new version.
Additionally, in other news it has come to light that the Dethklok Clan have managed to make a modification to Battlefield 2142 to once again allow for on-line multiplayer gameplay without the need to log in to the EA Master Server (which no longer exists), this is a massive and positive piece of news which could mean a return to the multiplayer arena for First Strike too. We're currently in discussions with the Dethklok Clan and looking into the implications for the mod, and if this will work for us as well as it works for vanilla BF2142. More news on that development as we have it.
