He's the Star Wars version of Chuck Norris. Looks just like him too.

Darth Caedus defeated Kyle. :/
Every major character in the Star Wars universe has been ambushed or outmatched at one time or another. Even the most powerful of Sith and Jedi. It's how they build character and create interesting plot lines for us to read about and follow.
Considering Kyle walked away from his fight with Darthy afterwards I don't consider that a defeat, just a reason for a grand and epic rematch.
