Yeah, he just give the emperor full power by giving him trust and doomed the entire galaxy and caused the death of billions XD
Palpatine manipulated everyone not even Yoda knew during the Clone Wars...
The jedi discovered the truth and tried to stop him(and if anakin wasn't there they would be successful). Jar Jar in the other hand gave the emperor the trust of the senate and gave him power but did nothing to stop him...
If Anakin wasn't there the jedi didn't recive the message, that palpatine was the sith-lord, they were searching for. I didn't like Jar-Jar but i think CaptinRegor is right. He was manipulated like many many others from palpatine.
Yeah, Palpatine reveals himself the Jedi didn't figure it out, he basically said to Anakin, "Hey, I'm that Sith Lord you've been looking for but I can save Padme"
The Jedi suspected darkness in the senate for a long time but they didn't do anything about it.
As for Jar-Jar he actually had a scene with Emperor Palpatine were he was confronting him, but it was cut from the movie (Best has told the story in an interview)
But there are many different point of views, I see Jar-Jar as just an innocent pawn the jedi didn't do better. other see it entirely different
i think Ariels talking about when Windu actually captures Palpatine and about to kill him and Anakin runs in "oh dont kill him i need him" for the chosen one he sure is emotionaly weak hes suppose to be a jedi not an idiot but then again Luke was the same
