Favourite Episode Thread - Star Wars Fan Group

The best episode was Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. The battles was just awesome.

Yeah that's right. Also it has got so many lightsaber battles like all other films together.
5 lightsaber battles were there:
Anakin & Obi Wan vs. Count Dooku
Obi Wan vs. General Grievous
Mace Windu vs. Palpatine
Anakin vs. Obi Wan
Yoda vs. Emperor

All battles are great except of the first.^^ This was boring^^

Also all space and ground battles aver very awesome. I like this film...

The space battle scene was the best, pity it didn't last for long.

Yeah the Space Battles.
The Best was over Coruscant.^^

One thing that i thought was bad about star wars was yoda. He's a great character but there wasn't enough battles that included him, it would've been good to see what he can do in combat situations when he's pushed to the limit.

Yes u only see Yoda 2 times fighting. Against Dooku and Sidious.
also in episode 1 he looked funny.

I wonder if long he trained to become what he is.

I agree that Revenge of the Sith is good. Aside from the huge epic battles, the acting from "someone" seemed forced and unnatural.
I still think that Empire Strikes Back is the best overall.

BTW: I think Yoda in Phantom Menace was still a puppet. They switched to a CG Yoda in Attack of the Clones.

No Yoda was already computer made.
In my opinion Episode III is the best.

Well, we are both wrong Col.Pendergast. According to the Star Wars Databank (Look under Behind the Scenes), Yoda in Phantom Menance was still mostly a puppet but was CG for 2 shots. Then was completely CG for Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

Which was necessary I guess, because you can't get a puppet to sabre duel a 196cm Count Dooku!

Uh difficult. All are good, but my favourite...

I think it's the 6 episode. The battle for Endor is just awesome. (i love this deathstar^^) But the V is also cool.

True, I like all of them, but I think Attack of the Clones was a bit..."meh, so what" and a talk-fest.
Too bad Lucas isn't going to make any more movies, could of had a triple trilogy there.

But I heard that the live action (non-animated) Star Wars TV series has been delayed by "a bit" untill 2010 or 2011. (Damn it, can't wait that long!)

Attack of thr clones was boring. Only the big battle on Geonosis was funny.
I want to see more films from Lucas.

I also can't wait for this new series.

Episode five is the best out of all star wars films. Fact.

Why? Here's a dot-point summary, in no particular order:

• AT-ATs
• Battle Of Hoth
• Asteroid Chase
• Imperial March
• Cloud city
• Yoda
• The first real lightsabre duel.
• The "I am your father" revelation.

I still prefer the 3 new ones. Phantom menace, attack of the clones and the revenge of the sith.

I think Episode III and VI are the best.
