It's official, dice is going to develop battlefront 3.
Good news and bad news everybody. The good news is that battlefront 3 is possibly going to be made. The bad news is it will be by DICE who is owned by EA.

I hope it comes out someday, but I fear it might be become Call of Battlefront (with ****** DLC and no mod tools + **** community) rather than back to the good old roots of the original two Battlefronts.
Well, it seems that sadly DICE has made your fears become reality: I think you just about summarized their Battlefront "reboot". Pretty sure that quite a few fans will be booting that game...
But hey who knows, maybe some indie game studio that will *actually listen* (ahem, DICE) to fans will make a *real* Star Wars Battlefront III someday...
