For people and teams developing mods and games with Valve's Source engine.
Nothing special, skins for Counter Strike: Source have been being developed for the last 8 years.
Sure, it's a good model, but why the upload?!
Says the guy who's mod page consists almost entirely of weapon models. It's not particularly amazing, but it shows he's got skill.
I say 'Why the upload' because this is not a game or MOD page, it's a group. Idiot.
"This group is more like an outlet of those on ModDB than a community in its own right."
That's exactly what the group's for. Sharing our Source-based content.
Sorry, but can I see where you got that? Because I've looked all over and cant see that. -_-
Thanks, but there is really no need to downvote every-thing.
Sure, but that really doesn't change or damage my point. I said that this upload is pointless and doesn't fit the group, I'm right, this is more of a profile rep group than a productivity exhibition.
I didn't downvote anything here :/.
Then we've got another mystery!
'entirely' No, it is full of model showcases, animation show-offs, script previews, large news posts, research information and SET-renders. Sorry, but when did you last visit the page?
Full use of gloss maps, specular and diffuse. The compile also has this neat smoke trail. I think it's worth showing off I guess.
Funny thing @ CallumSharp if it wasn't for these "pointless" people uploading their truly amazing re-skins your mod wouldn't have any weapon models since it seems like most of the models you have are CSS re-skins by other hard working people. Quite rude isn't it? This dev needs love! Not hate, if so you can forever **** yourself. ^^
People really take my comments the wrong way(!) Don't bring my creations into this as it has no place nor makes any sense. I was pointing-out the upload wasn't showing something WE as a community can access, it's just an image, it offers no fun.
