Isn't a bit convenient that when nearing elections(for republicans who are so darn good at security stuffs) or right after a government surveillance program comes into question that the terror alert decides to rise? It seems particularly interesting considering I haven't heard jack shit about a terror alert since the Bush administration.
But shit what do I know, I'm just some guy on the internet.
People are no longer starting to fear religion and so they make up communism. The soviet union died and so they needed a new fear to control the populace and so now they cry out terrorist as an excuse to infringe on our rights. In reality it's a very minor risk, more people die from accidents a year than all the terrorist deaths combined. But remember if you value your rights, the terrorists win.
Citizen privileges are overrated. Who do those drones think they are, people?
Pffft, hahahahahahahaha.
I feel as if it's not terrorist that are causing terror but the government. A scared population will gladly give up their rights for a bit of security. Just take a look at how the Star Wars plotline goes. Even though its fictional it does capture the stupidity of the masses relativity well. However I agree with Benjamin Franklin's quote, "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." First time I read that was in Empire Total War:D
Ah yes. Total War...now that's how to get an education!
yep it is:D
honestly, i learned a lot of stuff from playing video games lol. Doesn't beat cracking open a good book, but its interactive and fun to learn (most people don't find reading a history book fun, dunno why though lol)
The funny thing to me is that this happens right after the wire tapping thing, and the Obama administration "claims" that the information pertaining to this supposed threat was gathered through those means.
That just seems a wee bit too convenient.
