It hasn't even been determined who used the chemical weapons. No investigation was done and the US just accused the regime of using it. They keep saying they have evidence but never show it. I don't care about sides in the conflict, they're both ridiculous, but Obama and Kerry aren't telling the truth.
well they could be, but if they aren't willing to show us they are its as good as lying.
the "true me" mentality of the U.S. is no longer effective
yet they still act as if people are willing to just believe them when every other freakin time we have trusted their judgment they screwed us over
If they can prove chemical weapons were used by the Syrian government by order of its leader (and not someone doin it on their own) against civilians then maybe I might be swayed that something should be done
By something I mean, take the actually proof to the U.N. and then let the global community sort it out.
The Arab League should do something. Its about time they tried to fix their little patch of the Earth. Its also time that America should try a little more conversation and a little less action, despite what Mr. Presley said.
Well actually, Obama is not the 'dictator' of the United States- he did feed our military intervention plan through congress, who in turn prevented the US involvement. Putin had very little to do with our decision at that point. I do think Putin displayed better leadership and kept things civil between the US and Russia in the midst of a potential disaster, and I have nothing but praise for him in light of that- on the other hand I think Obama did the right thing for the wrong reason by filtering through congress.
Now if we're comparing nations, I'd say the US has a better system and Russia has a better leading figure- I'd prefer the US govt though, because 1: it doesn't die like any 1 man will 2: It has checks and balances 3: It refines itself over time as the people change 4: It's protected my rights- If I went around claiming to be gay here, I wouldn't get thrown in jail.
Since war in Syria is danger for Putin and business for Obama...

The Arab League ceased to exits in all but name after Yom Kippur war.
