one problem with that. Tie fighter pilots did not own a ship like rebels, they took whichever Tie was ready at the time, as they go through servcing and are all identical. No pilot got the same Tie repeatedly.
how the hell do you know that :P
try again, the Black Eight did own their fighters, and they flew Defenders when everyone else only had interceptors...
