*caugh* for the USA part ;P
To Add it sorry SR :P Grffin wins this round.
Sweden is a top-notch producer and designer in Artillery and Naval systems. True Sweden doesn't have the Bulks, but Sweden made the MOST ADVANCED naval guns around for use (The USA was very interested in those systems.)

Turkey on the other hand is high tech, but at the contrary of Sweden (Producing instead of Enlarging) Turkey focuses on it's military enlargement, Sweden isn't too keen on that, though Turkey isn't as "High-tech."

we also made a system that other countries are interested in ;) and we ''improve'' every ship we buy so you cant deny that our navy is made of a bunch of old ships.

hey, c'mon, sweden is an old nation in heavy-weapons, heard about at-4? carl gustav recoiles rifle, bofors 40 mm (from wwII but stil used on the spooky)stridsvagn S (S-Tank)? Our submarines engines are sold to japan and we sells subs to australia. The Gripen is sold to some coutrys, not as many as USA (capitalist dogs) sell their jets but sweden is so many times smaller (9 milliones citizens)

Capitalist dogs? :P
COMMUNIST BASTARD :P

To add it, Sweden makes the perfect designs, almost every project was flying colors, Sweden sells but doesn't use its own tech most of the time.

Nations who are very dependent on weapon sales for economy are:
Russia, China, Israel, Sweden, USA, Germany, Italy and Belgium are the Most. Others do invest, but these countries are the most investing, successful and achieving.

Russia/Ex USSR for example, made a huge economic boost in the 60-70s by major sales of AK-47 Kalashnikovs, RPG-7s, SA-7s, and various vehicles such as the T- Series mostly T-55s, the BTR-50/60s etc...

China mainly did copies of Soviet designs, and mostly sold them to Asian nations around them.

USA is known to distribute to most of NATO members and other allies, or nations with lack of military power who will invest money for the tech.

Sweden as Griffin pointed focuses on heavy weapons usually, Sweden is known to make the TOP of artillery.

Germany, Belgium, Italy... These nations are more focused in light arms, they succeed with excellent designs and other not so successful ones.

Israel, would just wow someone with their designs, you would freak to see the systems it developed, lots of nations and agencies purchase heavily from Israeli produced arms. One of the most successful designs ever, the Uzi, and somewhat the Galil, but people would rather go Kalashnikov than Galil. Just to point out the USA works a lot with Israel at some points for arms development.

I just went off-topic :P
