I make mods, historical maps and missions in MOW style for MOW AS on DMS forum.
For this job I use Google Earth, that I got very very accurate relief terrain, the exact location of buildings, houses, bridges, fences and even trees and so on.
Point is that last year Google has recorded Belgrade and you now have a section in 3D version. NOt yet street view pictures but many many pictures from all over the city.
All major buildings as well as many parts of the city are in the 3D version.
The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia from your thread:
Spin the mouse wheel down for a better picture on gooogle earth, and you'll get the complete building in 3D version with many pictures of the National Assembly.
Download google earth for free, mark 3d in settings and try.
I'm from Belgrade, but I do not have much free time because of work, so that's why I propose variant Google Earth.
For some specific place, details, I try to help you, depending on your needs and my free time.
SERBIAN GROUP FOREVER !!!
Hey buddy, thanks for replying!
I actually already use Earth and Google maps as well as Bing, it's very useful for the overview of the area and invaluable for use of mapping the areas. What I need is photos of specific and not so well documented areas, like buildings in the distance that are unmarked on the map.. possibly video as well would help to make sure everything is correct.
One of the most important things is the interior of the National Assembly building, I already have over 800 photos of it now including some interior photos and some shots taken from the panoramic presentation on the government page but I have no idea how the layout fits together.. ie how the parliament hall is connected with the hallways and other other various conference halls etc I know the building is open to the public but I don't know what kind of restrictions are in place in regards to taking photos.. I imagine some areas are off limits... ideally I could do with a video walking through the building in all directions...
Well I too have other things to occupy me, but perhaps you can find some free time to help with what I need, I don't think it would take up so much of your time. Let me send you a pm to discuss further...
Hey friends from Serbia, who here is from the capital? I would like to see if anyone can possibly take photos of specific areas for me in Belgrade, for both level design reference and texture bases for my mod, Ničija zemlja. The mod is here if you haven't seen it already:
Please reply here or PM me if you think you can help!
