So I was looking at Stormthecastle.com and I found this tutorial about making plastic. Stormthecastle.com which I will have to try sometime since plastic would be a great alternative to casting metal:) anyways for now I should get some sleep (i really need more sleep..... The side effects are increasingly visible)

Ok important notice to all people in science group.
enough with the god crap already.
we dont care about "your god" its not science it never will be science its just dark ages superstion.
Evolution is a fact, it is dont argue get over it. I dont want to here another god dun it arguement on this page again. Evolution is a SCIENTIFIC theory and has been through a great amount of testing and scrinty and still stands because it is valid. It has stood up to some of the greatest minds the world has ever seen and guess what thats not you.
creationism is nothing more than supersitious crap and itsnt science, and will not be treated as science, neither will unicorns, santa claus or the easter bunny its all the same a fairytale.
I am not being prejduce and discriminating against you, I have let this go on for a long long time, far to long if you ask me. If you want to believe creationst or intelligent design crap go ahead, BUT it is not science and will never be and will no longer be allowed on this page.
thank you and have a nice day

Guys I found the perfect response to Bill's video about evolution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xSi8g2ouCQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player please watch before complaining. I don't complain until I read/watch the stuff someone askes me to, and if I for whatever reason can't or don't want to then I keep quite. Also maybe one of you could upload it as a video, my iPhone doesn't let me upload things:(

Mr.Walrus Sep 4 2012 replied:

I'll give that fellow some credit, he organizes his argument a lot better than most creationists. However, if you take a moment to think about what he's saying, his points still aren't valid; the existance of evolution has proven. New things are still being discovered about evolution, and thus, it's not taught as something that's been entirely set in stone, like he seems to believe it is. Even more ridiculous is the concept that evolution shouldn't be taught in schools because children don't understand writing or mathematics. Do you want to make them MORE ignorant? From the way he's phrasing it, he seems to even say that the education of evolution somehow muddles children's brains, as if it's CAUSING those problems. In reality, what he's saying is little more than an indirect and slightly more polite (and I give him props for that nonetheless) version of the creationist logical fallacies.

Then explain to me why when my parents went to school they learned things like multiplying in grade 1, while I learned it in grade 3? Either school is becoming easier to make people stupider, or people are becoming stupider, so school is made easier, for the sake of the students so that they don't get heart attacks when they see 30&#xon; a test. I would link it with evolution BECAUSE evolution basicly teaches that life is meaningless and that there is not much point in trying to be exceptional. Creation on the other hand teaches that God values life greatly, so much that he gave his son's life for our life. Therefore it is WRONG to waste our life doing nothing. Do you know the parable where Jesus is talking about talents? He encourages us to develop our gifts and abilities instead of wasting them. A humans mindset greatly impacts his/her actions. By the way the speaker used to be an evolutionist (not sure if I meantioned that earlier) also please correct me about anything that I am plainly wrong on:)

Mr.Walrus Sep 8 2012 replied:

When the hell did evolution tell people that life is 'meaningless'? Irreligious people don't think that. Religious people don't think that, and you know that there are good number of evolution-supporting Christians, right?

Also, I'll tell you who has great education. The Europeans. The vast majority of countries who have better education than, say, North America are European, and Europe has MASSIVELY larger numbers of irreligious people than North America (United States in particular). In the Western World, this widespread denial of evolution is essentially secluded to this continent. So really, if you think that religion, or lack thereof, has ANYTHING to do with education, then you just proved that atheism improves it.

Same could be said about bill's video. By the way the person talking was an atheist at one point of his life. (if I remember correctly he says that in one of his videos)
