Post news Report RSS About our Kickstarter goal

So many questions about our Kickstarter pledge. A brief statement from the team with regards to this subject.

So we have been getting a lot of feedback to our KickStarter project but question that baffled us is that how low amount we are asking for.

Yes, we are asking minimum of £10.000 to finish the project and that's what we need to finish the project in its current form, not the planned stretch goals.

For £10.000, which is roughly around $17.000, we will record voices and pay our wonderful cast of voice-over actors, revamp almost all of our animations and re-design most of our sounds.

Solarix has been in development for the last 3 years and our ambitious team has been working very hard and continue to do so. And all of us are passionate about Solarix, and everyone is working for royalties.

The team believes in the project, so does our publisher KISS Ltd. The game is already on steam, approved, and we expect to release through other vendors such as GamersGate and Greenman Gaming.

We only requested the bare minimum we felt we could complete the game with. We have already programmed our AI, Weapons, Game Play Elements, HUD, UI Interface, Saving & Loading and Game-Play scripting, Inventory Management and Objectives.

We have several different types of Enemies and Monsters, a variety of weapons and hacking tools, and rich content. As of right now, all of this works but can use some balancing. Thanks to our Archetype system, balancing game-play elements is a breeze.

Thanks for taking the time to check out our Kickstarter, and thanks to everyone who has pledged thus far. If you have any questions, we’d love to hear from you!
