First off, thanks to whoever made this group! I've been playing RTS online since Red alert 2 first came out 11 years ago, and I'm disturbed by the current trend towards RTT playing itself off as RTS. I was really angry when I bought C&C 4 only to find no base building or money making ability. I spent the last couple years playing Battle for Middle Earth 2 and love the game but it's time to move on. I have Red Alert 3 coming in the mail any day now but was wondering if anyone knows of a really good WW2 true RTS game with full base building, resource generation, individual unit control like C&C Generals, and featuring Air and Naval battles along with ground combat? If not does anyone have any suggestions for a medieval RTS with the same criteria? The Supreme Commander games look great but I'm trying to escape the "Mech Warrior" thing for a while.
