One of the best mods ever I've seen for Dawn of War (I played almost all of them), I'm not a fan of enormous changes (like codex mod for example, that is still a wonderful modification) and I must tell you that this is really awesome. Thank you very much ;)

Hey. Your mod is great and i really like that you made it. There is just one thing that bugs me. The BT voices and when they speak. As talented as you are, i dont really like their voices. Is there any way i could change their voices to that of the vanilla space marines?

Open the BTmod.module and update all units from Data\attrib\ebps\races\black_templars\troops\ list.
Exactly, you need change the ui_ext\speech_directory of each RGD file.
You can take proper sound paths from similar units list of vanilla space marines from Data\attrib\ebps\races\space_marines\troops\ path
I need to mention that such editing will made you version of mod incompatible for LAN games.

just after some info or help, new to modding ive read all i could etc but ...ive deamons codex advanced ai and all other mods installed i can run the mods but only in scurmish mode ! how can i get the bt campaign up ?? please help plus no noob shite comments please i know im new but trying to learn !

Black Templar race is not supported by original SS campaign, because it is the new race, not a vanilla SM race replacement.
I've started a campaign conversion long ago, but things are stalled currently. I'm too busy due to involving into help to other people's mods.
To say true, a good conversion will takes years... I did and tested some magic scripts for metamap campaign, like "free for all" battles, etc. Until that, you can try Titanium mod for SS campaign Moddb.com . I've heard, it is extremely hardcore one! :D
hi, im sorry to bother you but what program should I use to unzip this? I have winzip 18.1 and it doesn't work btw im tryin to use this for the "soulstorm strong hold mod"
BT mod have its own installer, no need in any unzip, unrar, etc programs.
o ok well when I download the BT mod it brings up "choose the program you want to use to open this file"

Probably, you've got the corrupted file.

Yes, it is the self-executable installer. File name must be "black_templars_kaurava_crusade_beta-5.exe" to be exact.
...So, ether, your file lost the ".EXE" extention, or You get the file corrupted during downloading, or your PC is infected.

Question: I installed this BT mod along with the Codex 3.5 mod. After following your tutorials, I managed to add BT race to the above mentioned mod. To my surprise, when I go to Front End screen in Codex 3.5, a character not present in BT Army Paint menu appears. He has a beard, a large sword and two eagle heads on his backpack. I nicknamed him "Marshal", but I haven't see him before, neither in game nor in paint showcase, BUT there is a character like him on the picture above (right side, descending the stairs). Now, my obvious question: Is he actually a playable character? How to unlock him?
Update: In the \templar_race\tactics folder I found a file called templarmarshalltactic.ai ... interesting.
Marshall's model is present in the mod, but such unit is not accesseble in skirmish. It is reserved for Character in campaign.
Yes, AI file is there, but it never was even tested.

I need help with installing this. For some reason, it want's to create a Soulstorm folder in him Soulstorm folder... Which is weird. Also, after I managed to somehow get it to start up, I promptly crashes...
When I try to activate it in the game mode options, It will restart shortly, but then it crashes... What the heck did I do wrong, and how do I fix it, because I REALLY want to play this mod.
(Hang on and let me try installing the AI mod mentioned above... Man I'm a yutz.)

i nice mod i have to say, just one thing, when i play and enter in the army paint to see the new units some faces and items like sword on the emperor's champion are missing, wat could be the proble and how fix it

Did you installed the latest "beta-5" version from moddb (from this page)? Was your install "clean"? For example, delete "BTmod" folder manually and re-install the mod.

well after the first play, the faces appear again, i think it just a visual bug, great mod btw, love play like black templar, in adition of the visual bug, in the most play some faces don't show up, like the capillan (i think it is they name) with no helmet, he allways appear with helmet

Jones have you ever thought of adding some of the characters from the lore? Like High Marshal Helbrecht as the Force Commander? Or Grimaldus as the Chaplain? Sigismund as the Emperor's Champion? These are just ideas. Idk how possible they would be to create, but it would be epic to see some of the main characters of the Templar we love so much. Keep up the great work, and good luck reaching 40k.

Don't know why but when I installed the mod I couldn't play it but I was able to combine it with the codex mod and was able to play it soooooo I don't know but I did what I wanted to do great race mod
you need Advanced Skirmish AI mod installed, as it is written everywhere.
I think it might be broken now, says my soulstorm.exe or something couldn't be found but all my other mods including Ultimate Apocalypse work perfectly fine
