Try the new painkeep update with source code - 2 versions online:
v1.2 - same old painkeep v1.1x with an admin and a user menu system - no more memorizing aliases or key bindings! (If you need an admin interface for a quake 1 game, this is a good one.)
v1.2.1 - now with some extra map control features including custom voting hubs, item over-rides , dynamic painkeep items and admin for PK add on map sets.
Both versions are released with full config and adaptive source code for adding to other mods.
