Very rarely pulse spikes will get stuck in a wall and create this flare
What is it?
A pulse spike - from the original painkeep pulse nailgun.
The pulse nail gun is pretty cool - it fired reflective nails that bounced around and did triple damage.
Just one of the really cool weapon enhancements in painkeep - grab this puppy, add a quad, start firing, and you could kill players you couldnt see or possibly reach!
(It was balanced - many times you would take yourself out with quad nails.)
What happened here?
Very rarely one of these spikes gets stuck in a wall. You see it here generating a continuous spray of "reflection" sparks. This could be a darkplaces only effect - I havent tested other engines to see if this happens.
The way the qc code works, this constant reflection does not allow the spike to expire easily. A fix would be trivial, but its such a rare happenstance that I have just left it in there.
