Atlantis vs India nuclear wars. Perhaps that is what happened to Atlantis, their enemies used a seismic weapon that destroyed the rocky foundations of their island homeland and it sunk. I hope they got revenge after that though, they are my ancestors after all.
I knew it since long ago that Atlantida battled the Rama Empire ( India of then ) and used massive stuff against eachother
The Rama had vymanas but Atlantis had something nastier it seems , perhaps exactly what caused the Deluge : a bigass seismic bomb
Yes , the Portuguese and the Spanish are nowadays Atlanteans
I am fully convinced about this , as well that the location is right in the Atlantic Ocean and not elsewhere like many smaller theories about it try to place it around the world

Spanish are only half atlanteans, mixed with arabs and romans, lusitanians were the ones that said they came from an island in the seas.
And no, I have nothing against the spanish, but if you study both cultures you will see the portuguese are the ones that always said our home was on the seas, hidden by God.

Wow amazing ! I done well to include the Lusitanians in my project and i plan Atlantis too but i'll leave it for a later stage , i need to think them really well
If you come across any artistic depiction of anything related to Atlantis regarding buildings , it would sure help me a lot than having to imagine everything from scratch
Still , all i imagine even now are very aquatic oriented motifs of architecture , perhaps statues of real sized fish just the way other civs have their own animal statues and so on , or perhaps there was nothing like that and only the aquatic attribute to them is later attributed given the Deluge and the act of sinking
Not even the exact dates are known when Atlantis lived but sometime before Egyptians started their very first settlement it was still existing

Age of Mythology had awsome atlantean inspired architecture, the atlanteans were a mix of Romans and mediaeval knights, the unit choices, both mythical and human, were also really good looking. My favourite is the Katapeltes, which wielded 2-handed maces that were great at fighting cavalry and buildings while being in beautifully decorated heavy armour, full of marine and avian motifs.
Also, since India was hit with the vymanas (like many of their legends say, in which whole cities were wiped by heavenly fire), wouldn't it be more logical to assume they were actually atlantean weapons and the seismic bombs were indian?
Good point but maybe the Ramans invaded Atlantis and the last hope was to detonate a seismic bomb unto own motherland to defeat them

The indian epoppes speak about vymanas and you mean they don't speak about vymanas made in the India of then ?

Atlantis has a lot of fire related stories around it, so nuclear weapons feel more like something they would have, or Heavenly Fire as they called it in those days. The greeks said Greek Fire was brought to them by scholars that survived Atlantis, the egyptians also spoke of a fire wielding people that came from the sea and burned entire cities with miraculous weapons, and the norse dragons are associated with water but still breathe fire perhaps as a mystification of ancient atlantean ships their ancestors might have fought at one time.

The way we have tanks , trains and automobiles now they had mythical beings of flesh and blood that existed truly and were weapons of war , beasts of war
Not sure they used genetics with DNA manipulation to get to them but they were either breeding live weapons of destruction , in the exact form of all the mythic creatures we barely know about but some know well or they were in the wilds , but that is harder to believe , and they just tamed them
Is the main thing that differentiates their world from ours or any other world
Progress was always different from one civilization to another regarding different time periods while in the same time period everyone seems to have progressed in similar ways , like they all built pyramids
In our future after this world is gone and we restart we will progress in another direction again
For me Atlantis was : matriarchal , cone shaped pyramids , floating vehicles and platforms of transport generated by crystal magic or tech , grandieuse cities , very rich , world power , snobbish , great astronomical , architectural , social etc. achievements but perhaps power hungry and expansionist
