Another day another way. It's Media Spurt 4 and we're showing off!

Announcement of Media Spurt #4 is here. We're cocking the keyboards and readying the studio with tea, as it's that time of year when not only must we shop for that one person who we  don't really know's gift, but also release some stuff on the DB!

To begin Media Spurt 4, we're brassing the audio for listening. We've composed the following article to show-case some audio samples and work. We hope you enjoy, at-least to some extent.

You can expect Media Week to continue through three more news posts (Audio, Environmental, VO Work, Narrative Show-OFFs)

Let thein sound commence;

Media Spurt 4, Article 1; 'Music Work Preview'

Tune of taste and tune of waist. Not just a funny rhyme, a good in-sight into perception of musical credibility, to a persteur` point, yes, we've been reading the dictionary.

It'd be good if we could announce a certain set of stability or integrity in our music, and piece design, but we cant, we're still working on the opening theme and have been for 2 and a half years!

I want to show-case some superb work by the great, Mr. Darren Curtis, the lead composition artist and additional, set sound effect designer. This man has composed over a collection of 200 pieces of ambiance or music for use in Wicked Evolving, never slipping-up or complaining about the amount of times he's had to re-enter his studio to change the pitch of a drum, so, with this I hope it is seen as a form of gratitude to Darren, and a way of bringing his work to the public(!) -

Let's start with a nice, up-beat rock tune for use in a climatic situation were Boicy finds himself running aware from certain terror, to some awe extent.

Typically we would produce a DR note and a script for the public to read, but we've been told this 'Sucks the mystery and energy away', so we'll just paste this screen-code from Soundcloud so you can listen, you've got ears, we're sure you can handle it without a director note made three years ago!

1. 'Whack The Drum With A Knife' - Heard when (SEE ABOVE, lazy)

Preview only

2. 'Forced Momentum' - Heard when David Scorr and his squad break-down a door and enter the lobby of a dark, stuffy room over-run by the THICKNESS mutation, used as ambiance and show-tune.

Final
